Garden maintenance


The Garden Maintenance Scheme is a service provided by West Lothian Council to prevent resident's gardens becoming overgrown. There are set rules for eligibility to benefit from the scheme. Applicants and all members of the householdĀ must be either:

  • Aged 16-65 and in receipt of a disability living allowance, or
  • Aged 65-70 with the scheme application form signed by a doctor, or
  • Aged 70 years or over, or
  • Registered blind
