Referenda

 

The first UK-wide referendum in over 35 years took place in May 2011.  The result delivered a 'no' to changing the UK Parliamentary voting system.

Both the Almond Valley and Linlithgow constituencies voted "No".

In Almond Valley, the number of votes case in favour of YES was 11,458; the nimber of votes cast in favour of NO was 18,871.

In Linlithgow, the number of votes case in favour of YES was 11,450; the nimber of votes cast in favour of NO was 22, 324.
